WHITE TRUCKS FOR HEAVY HAULING New Delivery Company Adopts Motor Vehicle for Modern Service The Auto Delivery company, which was recently organized in this city, has just received six of the 10 five ton White trucks ordered from the White company through the-San Francisco branch. The other four are en route and are expected to arrive soon. - It is the intention of the new com- pany to do heavy trucking exclusively, hauling sand, gravel, crushed rock, ce- ment, lumber, structural, steel,: water and gas pipe- and large cargoes of J the different comodities shipped by water and rail in car lots. The full equipment ordered will give them a capacity of about 1,000 - tons a day, and this will be increased by added equipment as fast as necessary, f That the speed of handling building material and cargo - shipments , is being appre- ciated by the large'contractors and merchants is attested to by the placing of rush orders with the? new company. This is the first concern of its kind in San Francisco.to use motor trucks in large quantities for; heavy hauling,* and opens , a field j that * is sure to*assume large proportions. .
