German Shepherd Puppies

Gypsy

CollinHis best friend Mick found a home so now it is his turn. He had a very

rough start to his life but now is his time. What a sweetie he is!! He is 4 months old, Black Lab mix, age

appropriate shots, and the sweetest personality. He is great with kids

and other animals and would love a home for the holidays.

These babies are may be pure breed shepherds. Mom was a smaller German shepherd (Mix?) and daddy was a pure breed German Shepherd

that lived next door. The owner of the mother kept her but didn’t want the pups so he gave them to the shelter down south. They are now about 9-10

weeks old up to date on shots and de-wormed. These are very handsome babies and will not last long.

Gypsy came in with her kittens when they were pulled from a local

kill shelter. Her kitten are all safe and sound but she is still waiting for a home. She is a love bug and really just wants a warm place to curl up in and a nice lap to sit on. If you are

looking for a very sweet baby girl then please come and meet Gypsy.

HOLIDAY WASTE BY THE NUMBERSThe holiday season generates a lot of waste, and many things contribute to this excessof trash this time of year. • Thousands of paper and plastic shopping bags end up in landfills after the holiday sea-son. Reusable cloth bags can limit the amount of bags tossed away, and users of plasticbags can recycle those bags at appropriate receptacles.• Four million tons of waste is attributed to shopping bags and wrapping paper. Recyclingpaper or looking for reusable items in which to wrap gifts can cut down on paper waste.• Approximately 33 million live trees are cut down and sold in North America each yearfor Christmas. If you use a live tree, be sure to recycle it so it can be turned into mulchinstead of being sent to a landfill. Otherwise, consider buying a potted tree and plantingit after the holidays.• Nearly 2.65 billion Christmas cards are sold and exchanged each year in the UnitedStates alone. This many cards can fill a football field 10 stories high. One less card sentper person can save roughly 50,000 cubic yards of paper. Electronic greetings are an-other way to save paper.• If everyone in Canada wrapped just three gifts in reused paper or gift bags, it wouldsave enough paper to cover 45,000 hockey rinks.

Welcome Home: Top Five Things To Know When Preparing To Sell Or Buy A Home In 2014(NAPSI)—For the first time in years, rising home prices are boosting sellers’ confidence. At the same time, interest rates remain relatively low, helping to boost potential homebuyers’ confidence. Millions of Americanswill decide in 2014 to put their houses on the market and/or shop for new homes, and need to understand thecurrent housing market conditions as they move closer to buying or selling homes. The following “top five things to know when preparing to sell or buy a home in 2014” should be consideredby anyone thinking about a home sale or purchase.1. Is 2014 the time to make a move? What sellers should know: The pool of prospective buyers hasn’t been this large in several years. Now maybe the time to move, depending on your market. What buyers should know: You’re competing with more buyers, but interest rates are still ideal, so the huntfor your next home could be well worth it in the end.2. The price is right, right? What sellers should know: Don’t overprice your house. After the first 21 days on the market its “freshnessappeal” diminishes. What buyers should know: The house is probably too expensive if your debt-to-income ratio (mortgage, prop-erty taxes and insurance) is higher than 36 percent of your monthly gross income.3. Look for added value in a home protection plan. What sellers should know: Homes sold with home warranties spend an average of almost 11 fewer days onthe market and sell for an average of $2,300 more than homes without a home warranty, according to a recenthome sales study conducted by American Home Shield®. For full results and methodology, visithttp://bit.ly/1mTrWkU).What buyers should know: If covered home system components or appliances fail, you’ll worry less knowingthey’ll be repaired or replaced under a home warranty.4. Improvements ... to make them or not? What sellers should know: View your home as a potential buyer and make improvements accordingly. Consultwith a real estate agent to see if improvements are good investments, and to avoid overimproving the prop-erty.What buyers should know: Assess your abilities, time constraints and commitment level when it comes torenovation work. Negotiate improvements with the sale of the house, when appropriate.5. Know the full scope of a Realtor’s responsibility. What sellers should know: Real estate professionals can identify the appropriate list price, determine necessaryimprovements, create a plan to promote the listing, and facilitate showings of the house to potential buyers. What buyers should know: Real estate professionals can access the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), helpyou understand what you want in a house and find a good fit. They can provide market trends and comparablepricing and guide you through the negotiation and closing processes.Learn MoreIf you’re considering selling or buying a home in 2014, visit www.firsthomeresources.com for informationthat will help you throughout the selling and buying processes. IS YOUR CAR READY FOR WINTER?Five Tips for Winter Tire Safety

1. Replace your all-season tires with winter tires for driving in temperatures of 45 degreesor below. Make sure to replace all four tires with winter tires to avoid an unsafe tractionmismatch.

2. Don’t forget the wheels when switching to winter tires. Having a set of wheels specif-ically for your set of winter tires will save money in the long run.

3. Check tire inflation pressure regularly and don’t forget the spare. Underinflated orover-inflated tires may result in poor handling, uneven tread wear and poor fuel con-sumption.

4. Rotate your tires at least every 6,000 miles or earlier if irregular or uneven wear de-velops.

5. Make sure the tire shop that gets your tires ready for cold temperatures torques thelug nuts to the proper specifications for your vehicle.

For more facts about winter tire safety or to find a Discount Tire store, visit www.dis-
