• Concept Maps:• Connecting past and present knowledge• They represent the connections between

concepts(Shapes, Patterns, Natural World, Man-made world)

• Precise and verifiable • Uses hierarchical structures for concepts • Cross links between ideas (red+yellow=orange)

• How do teachers use Concept Maps?• Design their curriculum overview• Evaluate students learning of concepts• Deliver and organize new information/concept

• 6 Easy Steps to Concept Mapping:o Concept – what’s the main idea?o Generating sub concepts – related to the central
