Music Video Treatment

Scene 1 – Verse 1

The opening sequence of the music video is of the camera focused on letters on the floor, the

camera slowly panning up and around to reveal the lead vocalist laying in a pile of love letters

from a relationship on his bedroom floor whilst him singing to the pre recorded backing track

which will be played whilst recording.

Scene 2 - Chorus 1

We now cut to a shot of the band on stage but only the lead vocalist is visible, the other

members are blacked out, in the dark. We would also have letters from the initial scene

falling on the band members. Finally we would create this scene using eclectic shots such as

dolly shots, pans, jib shots etc.

Scene 3 - Chorus 1

A shot from the outside, looking through a window at the girl. We now have a reverse of the previous shot where we see the girls back and the lead singer outside singing. The singer would then fade away to the lyrics "memories

that are clear to fade"

Scene 4 - Verse 2

We then see her leading him into the woods as he goes running after her, as he does he loses

her hand and they get separated. With a camera shot of there hands moving further and

further away, this then goes to a shot of the lead singer running four different ways to find

the person he’s just lost. We would have camera shots of him running up to the camera

and high angle shots to give the feeling of being lost.

Scene 5 - Chorus 2

In this scene we will be a collection of shots of he whole band performing. We are also hoping to get in an audience to give more of a feel of a live performance. Another idea we would like

to record the singers at twice the speed therefore allowing us to slow the video down

as professional videos do.

Scene 6 – Verse 3 + Chorus 3

Here we will show our vocalist sitting on a sofa watching TV when the band burst in an start

playing for the chorus. The camera will then cut back to the live performance and end.
