Introducing

The new Biplanar™ 600sState-of-the-art mobile biplane fluoroscopy for intraoperative surgery

The new Biplanar™ 600s meets the requirements of spinal surgery.

The Biplanar™ system is the world’s only proven mobile biplane fluo-

roscopy system.

It performs simultaneous fluoroscopy in two orthogonal planes with

seamless integration into your workflow.

With a simple tap on the foot control, you are able to see both AP

and lateral views without any need for rotation or repositioning – highly

desireable in trauma surgery and key in spinal surgery.

When using the Biplanar™ you can focus fully on your work without

undesired interruptions. This results in shorter operating time, signifi-

cant dose savings and reduced infection risks.

With the option of the new Biplanar™ 600s system, operations in

spinal surgery can benefit fully from our Biplanar™ technology.

A steel handrail has been added to the lateral image intensifier ma-

king the Biplanar™ easier to handle. Improvements have been made

to the monitor cover for better durability. A new panel design and new

innovative cable connectors are important changes.

The 600s is the latest model of Swemacimaging’s™ original Biplanar™

idea, which was the world’s first mobile G-arm introduced in 1974.

More than 1,000 surgeons operate regularly on hips, tibias, knees,

and spines using the Biplanar™ fluoroscopy system. Over 100,000 in-

terventions are performed annually worldwide. Overall, more than two

million surgeries have been performed in more than 18 countries since

the introduction of the Biplanar™ system.
