1. ELECTRIC MODE (FULLY CHARGED BATTERY) When fully charged, you can drive up to 40 miles on the electricity stored

in the battery (totally gas and emissions free.)

2. EXTENDED-RANGE MODE (AFTER THE CHARGE IS DEPLETED) after the charge in the battery is depleted, Volt automatically uses gas to

generate its own electricity, enough to power it for up to 300 additional miles until you can plug it in or fill up again.

OnStar Directions & Connections offers all of the safety and security services of Safe & Sound (automatic Crash Response, Remote Door Unlock, etc.), but also features OnStar’s Destination Download. Volt drivers can program and send destinations directly to their Volt NaV screen using eNaV or by pushing their blue OnStar button.

› Timeshift function The timeshift feature of the Volt audio system functions much like

a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) for televisions. This “pause and play” feature lets you stop a live radio broadcast, record up to 20 minutes, and play it back later. So, if you missed the end of a football game while pumping gas or just want to hear a song again, this feature lets you do it. Content is stored on the embedded hard drive within the radio. Once you’ve recorded something, you can fast-forward and reverse playback as desired, just like a DVR.

The Volt NaV interprets data and informs the driver of current and future weather and road conditions (slippery, wet, icy, etc.) as well as atmospheric conditions (rain, sleet, snow, wind, fog, precipitation intensity, etc.).
