VariCel VXL are lightweight compactfilters designed for use in industrial and commercial HVAC installations. Available in the EN779 classificationrange F6 - F9, their rigid design andpleated media pack with thermoplasticseparators ensure they deliver the desiredair quality when used in variable airvolume systems and subjected to repeatedfan shutdown, high relative humidity andintermittent exposure to water.A BioCel VXL is available as H10 toEN1822.

Due to their 5000m3/h capacity,VariCel VXL offer many cost savingbenefits. In new installations fewer filtersare needed to handle the same volume ofair compared to filters of the same sizewith a lower capacity. Fewer filters meanless installation space for the filtrationsystem. They can also be used in existingsystems to increase the air capacity.VariCel VXL display low media resistance

and have a high dust holding capacity andlong service life.

MediaVariCel VXL media is water resistantand can withstand exposure to freemoisture in the airstream. When wetthere will be a temporary rise inresistance, which quickly returns tonormal as soon as the moistureevaporates. The design ensures a fulldepth loading of dirt across the entiresurface of the filter media

ConstructionThe header and cell sides provide asturdy construction that resist damageduring shipping, handling andoperation. The entire polystyreneconstruction is fully incinerable.

SeparatorsThe thermoplastic separators maintainuniform spacing between

pleats to allow optimal flow of air into and through the filter. They also ensure large effective media area for low resistance and highdust holding capacity.

Operating TemperatureVariCel VXL filters can operate attemperatures up to 80°C.

VariCel VXL is also available withIntersept biostatic treatment.
