Tree Planting – One Person, One Tree Planting

The more the merrier! Our initiative program for the environment - one person, one tree planting,

continues by having our respected customer representatives participating in the program. Ms. Amy Hall,

Vice President and Social Consciousness of Eileen Fisher, along with Ms. Luna Lee, the Human Rights

Leader of Eileen Fisher, and Mr. David Forsgate from Eralda, all participated in our environmental

Kartini’s Day

The month of April is special for Indonesian

women as we commemorate Kartini’s day,

the birth date of one of Indonesia’s

emancipation women pioneers. The

meaning of Kartini Day is not simply

wearing traditional costumes every April 21,

but more importantly as a self-

encouragement among all women that

women can achieve any of their life dreams.

Citra employs 2,900 female employees out

of 3,037 total employees. We take our

gender diversity and equality very seriously,

and this occasion holds significant

importance for us.

To enliven Kartini’s day, Citra held activities

such as a traditional costume show, and a

creativity contest of waste recycled products

in line with Earth Day commemoration to

support zero waste program.

3R Program

In April 2018, Citra held the competition of

3R program to support the zero waste

program in commemoration of Earth Day

2018. The event was attended by more

than 50 participants who brought creative

results from recycled waste material, such

as various handicrafts made from

accessory waste and fabric waste, and

also box files made from carton waste and

paper marker waste.

Healthy Employees, Productive Employees

Motivation is what gets you started and habit

is what keeps you going. Supporting a

healthy habit among employees, such as

group workouts, will motivate our employees

to live a healthy lifestyle. We believe that a

healthy mind is supported by a healthy body.

The initiative to stay fit does not only come

from the company. In Citra, it comes from

motivated employees. A female employee

saw her collegue doing Zumba (a dance and

aerobic combination workout) in the public

facilities every Saturday morning and Sunday

morning.

She joined her colleague and they exercised

routinely. They started an initiative to hold the

same activity inside the factory every Tuesday

afternoon starting at 5PM. This activity

attracted the further interest of other

employees and grew in numbers.

Since then, a Zumba Party is organized in the

factory each year, with employees inviting their

families to participate in this event. In May

2018, they invited an external professional

trainer. This activity benefitted not only their

personal well-being but also building

relationships as well amongst staff and their

families.

The second batch of Her Finance training has

been completed for 30 Peer Educators who have

been giving the training for the past 6 months.

Micra Indonesia conducted an end-line survey as

part of the Her Finance program on 9 May 2018 to

help understand how the financial goals and

behaviors of workers have changed over the

course of HER Finance. A total of 104 worker

representatives have completed the questionnaire.

Prevention of Women’s Cancer

Citra cooperated with LP3I to provide an awareness program to educate employees on the prevention of

women’s cancer. On April 24, 2018, dr. Firman, a doctor from Hermina–Mekarsari Hospital, led this

program. He shared with the participants prevention techniques and offered a pap smear check . There

were 50 employees who attended this awareness session.

Higg Return Rate After Eid Al-Fitr Holiday

In May thru June, 2018, Islamic managers and

employees fasted for a month during Ramadan. During

the month of Ramadan fasting, employees keep working

and productively carrying out work activities. Activities

that were held during Ramadan include breaking the fast

with management and employees. This activity was held

in the cafeteria inside the factory. They also conducted

religious activities in the mosque.

At the end of Ramadan, the workers celebrated the Eid

holiday. Eid Al-Fitr holiday is the most embraced festival

for workers, which is a great time for family reunions.

The factory was able to maintain an employee return

rate of over 90% after Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

Local Community Care

Blood Donation

In April and May 2018, Citra held a blood donation which

involved 87 donors who participated in the activity. Partnering

with Red Cross Indonesia, Citra regularly holds blood

donation drives in the factory area.

Heesu Foundation

The representative of our management, unions, the

Cooperative shop and workers visited the Heesu

Foundation in June 2018. Heesu foundation helps disable

children (physical and mental disable) who are being

neglected or from poor family. Currently, there are 16

children who are being treated at the Heesu Foundation.

This is part of our commitment to always care and support

the community nearby our factory. We visit Heesu

foundation regularly every twice a year.
