Text of Careers Brochure, 2013

  • careersThe career services program at the University of Virginia

School of Law is one of the most successful among national law schools and provides students with a wide range of job opportunities across the nation and abroad. Virginia enjoys a reputation for producing lawyers who not only master the intellectual challenges of legal practice, but also contribute broadly to the institutions they join through strong leadership and interpersonal skills. As a result, private- and public-sector employers heavily recruit Virginia students each year. Graduates start their careers across the country with large and small law firms, government agencies and public interest groups.
