工業於何時興起？戰爭對香港工業有何影響？香港不同時期的主要工

業是什麼？香港工業對本土經濟有何貢獻，以及如何影響香港人的生

活？讀者可透過圖書館館藏及網上資源，了解香港的工業發展。 Industries played a pivotal role in transforming Hong Kong from a small fishing village into a cosmopolitan city. Industrial changes have had far-reaching impacts on the socio-economic development of Hong Kong ever since the opening of the city for trade. When did industries emerge in Hong Kong? How were Hong Kong industries affected by the two World Wars? What were the major industries in Hong Kong during different periods?
