    6. CLOSURE: Today, we learned about different important figures in both political parties. We talked to our classmates about our important person, their political affiliation andthe change that happened with that persons help. Now, time for pizza!

    F. Assessment: What will you use to measure student understanding?

I will be using the student presentations to measure understanding.

Explain how you will know students understand the concepts from the lesson.I will be walking around to each students presentation and going through the

rubric to grade the student based on the student talking about who their importantperson is, what political party the person was affiliated with and what changes were

    influenced by that person.

    G. Reflection:1. Which part of the lesson do you think will be the easiest for you to teach?

This whole lesson plan should be easy as it is a wrap up to the unit.

    2. Which part will be most challenging for you to teach?I should not run into any challenges for this lesson plan.

    3. How will you follow up or extend this lesson?Students can write about their favorite presentation and what they learned about

the person being talked about during the presentation.

    4. What will you do for students who dont grasp the concepts?I would wotk with students one-on-one to clear up any confusion and ask them

questions during their presentation to lead them in the right direction.

    5. Which part of the lesson, if any, do you think might need to change?I think I would keep this lesson as is.

    6. When you were writing this lesson plan, what was the most difficult part? The most difficult part was thinking about what should be included on the rubric.
