Instructional classes are taught by an outside source and the same class is attended for multiple weeks. Open to both BSU affiliates and non-BSU affiliates. Visit the Outdoor Pursuits Resource Center to help plan your trip. We have over 300 books, trail maps, games, and DVDs that are available as resources to plan and act out trips. We also have a very knowledgeable staff as far as directing patrons to local camping, biking, kayaking destinations, and much much more!

Visit the Rental Center in the SRWC for all of your outdoor rental needs. We have over 2,000 items to rent, and a brand new bike shop coming this fall. Also, climb our 36-foot rock wall if you haven’t tried it yet!

How long can I keep my equipment?

Daily rentals are due back by 6 p.m. the following day. Weekend rentals may be picked up on

Friday, and due back by 6 p.m. on Monday

How much does it cost to climb?

The Outdoor Pursuits Climbing Wall is FREE to all BSU students, faculty

and staff. Also to any community members who

are SRWC affliated or are accompanied by an SRWC affiliate and have purchased a guest pass.

How can I get Belay certified?

We offer a Belay clinic that teaches basic

maneuvers. The clinic is $15 and the advanced certification test is $5.
