ecuited the help of a West Cheshie

College tuto and student when she

came ove to Ellesmee Pot to lm a

documentay.Pefoming ats tuto Steve Lawson was

enlisted to help Jona with he book Ove

the Wate which is a photogaphic study

of people fom Ellesmee Pot, including

    local boxe Paul Butle.

The book, which focuses on Bitish Youth

Cultue has now developed into a shot

lm which follows Pauls pepaations fo

    him winning the Bitish Supe-Flyweight

title.Steve said: The book is about the

choices young people make and how that

sets thei life on a cetain couse. Paul is

a pefect example as he has dedicated

his life to boxing since he was 10 and has

    won National Amateu titles, epesented

Geat Bitain and won the Bitish Supe-

    Flyweight title.

It is fantastic that Jona has chosen

Ellesmee Pot as the subject of hebook and lm, as it highlights the many

    inteesting and inspiational people who

live and wok in the town.

Film and TV media poduction student

at West Cheshie College, Sam Bake,

was given the oppotunity to wok witha pofessional lm cew as an assistant

    duing the shoot.

Sam, 16, fom the Wial, said: When

my tuto gave me the oppotunity to wok

on the lming, I snapped it up as I knew

it would be a fantastic expeience. I did

a vaiety of jobs including helping out

with the lighting and assisting the sound

    opeato and geneally obseving the

lming.I leant a lot fom being on set and the

lm cew gave me a lot of advice on how

to achieve my caee goals. Afte nishing
