Home Alone Safety Class Ages 8-11. Learn the basics of being safe when home alone for short periods of time. We’ll talk about how to answer the telephone and door, internet safety, first aid techniques, accident prevention and fire protection and more will be discussed. Youth will have a better understanding of responsibility & independence. This is an interactive class. Bring a snack and water. Each student will receive a handbook. Youth Tennis Clinic

Ages 7-9 and 10-13. Geared toward beginner and intermediate tennis players. Students will learn the rules of the game and the fundamental skills through fun games and drills. Skills learned include: scoring, forehand and backhand shots and volleys. Instructor: Andy M. Toddler Programs

Toddler Dance Class Ages 3-5. In our YR Dance! classes your child will learn the basics of dance styles like ballet and jazz. Your child will explore creative movement using their imagination, balance and coordination to express themselves. Com-bining the two makes for a great use of your child’s ener-gy and a lot of fun! Creative Movement Ages 2-4 In our creative movement classes we use our imagination to help us hop like a frog, walk like a bear, sing and dance even take a ride on an animal train! While we have such fun, our little ones fall in love with the idea of movement and exercise! Ages 2-5. Get your children outdoors & moving! Join us for Tiny Kicks & Power Kickers, an introduction to soccer program for ages 2-5. While learning about soccer they will also improve coordination, following instructions, en-courage locomotion and living a healthy and active life-style! Parent participation is necessary. Min of 5 participants. Creative Arts for Toddlers Ages 3-6 This class will focus on reading an art related children’s story and exploring a variety of art materials. Class runs for 60 minutes and all art materials are includ-ed and provided. All creations are brought home at the end of each class. Safe Sitter: Babysitter Training Course Ages 11-15. This fun and exciting course teaches sitters the importance of their job responsibilities. Topics include accident prevention, proper play and interaction with children of all ages, problem behavior and CPR introduction! Participants will be prepared to respond effectively in an emergency situation. Prepare your child increased responsibilities and money earning potential. This is a 1-day (6.5 hour) intensive training course. Please pack a lunch. Safe Sitter course includes training manual and completion card. Therapeutic Seated Yoga

Adults (Recommended 50+) This is a gentle seated yoga practice. It can be done anywhere, no special clothing required other than to be comfortable and loose fitting. People with physical disabilities are encouraged to try this. Moves are done slowly and mindfully. Tai-Chi/Qigong Foundations This class covers qigong/tai chi fundamentals of breath work, movement, posture alignment, and visualization. Consistently practicing these gentle, meditative movements improves balance, coordination, flexibility, strength and mental clarity. Safe and suitable for everyone, all movements can be modified and effectively compliment other health and wellness pursuits. Forest Bathing Ages 18+ Join Forest Therapy Guide Laura Putnam for a slow guided wander in the woods. Forest Bathing, which originated in Japan, has been proven to reduce blood pressure, increase immunity, improve focus and creativity, and is becoming increasingly popular in the US. This class is designed to open each of the senses and create space for connection and interactive experience with the forest. Part guided meditation part nature walk, this class is for everyone, regardless of fitness level. Sept. 8th: Scarecrow Building Join us as we help out the Milford Rotary and Lion’s Club by building scarecrows. The scarecrows will be dis-played around town to get the community excited for Pumpkin Festival and the chance to build their own scarecrow. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Registration required by Sept 3rd.

Oct 13th: Seated Yoga Join us for a gentle seat-ed yoga practice in which movements are done slowly and mindfully. Please wear comfortable clothing that is loose fitting. This is a great way to try out one of our new classes. Snack & beverages will be provided. Registration required by October 8th 603-249-0625

November 10th: Thanksgiving Craft and Wreath Making Today we will create a beautiful Thanksgiving craft. We will also be decorating a wreath as a donation for the Wadleigh Library: Wreaths Around Wadleigh! Snacks and beverages will be provided. Registration required by November 5th 603-249-0625

December 8th: Senior Luncheon Enjoy the spirit of the holidays – join us for a catered full-course turkey dinner. Games, laughter, great merriment and raffle prizes! Please bring a non-perishable food item for SHARE. Registration required by November 24th 603-249-0625

Beginner Friend & Family Archery

Ages 8-104. Expect to learn and or sharpen your skills, as you experience the magic sound of hitting the target. Start on your journey to be like the Night of Old with this ancient sport that allowed humans to hunt without having to fist fight a saber tooth tiger. It’s time to let go of the string and stress for an hour as you experience this an-cient sport. Form and safety will be emphasized. Honor, Respect and Kindness are expected while on the archery range. Okinawan Karate Ages 16+ Class will focus on the basic and intermediate skills of Okinawan karate with a heavy emphasis on stretching, fitness and self-defense. Class will be highly structured and tailored for each individual’s ability. Class will focus on empty hand self-defense and Okinawan classic weaponry as participants advance. Safety is a primary consideration in this class. NH State Veteran’s Cemetery & T-Bones Restaurant We will first be visiting the NH State Veteran’s Ceme-tery in Boscawen, NH whose mission is to provide and maintain a dignified final-resting place to honor all veteran’s and eligible dependents which express-es the State’s gratitude for their service to the coun-try. We will spend time in the Veteran’s Heritage Learning Center and have the opportunity to see the Chapel and the Memorial Walkway. We will then stop at T-Bones Restaurant in Concord, NH for lunch before our trip home.
