Support for students in 2015
During the latter part of this year applications for federally funded support for students under the chaplaincy program became available. An application for Murrumburrah Public School was lodged and endorsed by our P&C. If we are successful with our application it will mean we have a social worker in our school two days a week, for the next two years. The position will be filled through interviews conducted at our school. The programs that the social worker runs will be developed and evaluated by the school. If successful, this will be of great benefit to our students. We should be notified before the end of this term.
Uniform sale dates The P&C advises that the uniform shop will be open at the following times for the remainder of the year and early next year: Thursday 22 January 2015 from 10am to 5pm Tuesday 27 January 2015 from 3pm to 5pm Thursday 29 January 2015 from 3pm to 5pm Further opening dates will be advised when school returns next year. School bags will now be sold through the uniform shop. There are junior bags available for $40 and senior bags for $50.
Students and staff at Murrumburrah Public School wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
