By far the biggest reason people go to the gym or

exercise is because they want to lose weight. But

what if I told you that surprisingly, exercise is not

the most ideal way to burn fat? The most

important thing you can do to start shedding

those pounds is not by hitting the treadmil l every

day but rather take a peek into your kitchen.

RULE #1 : Cut out what you KNOW is bad for

you Stop using excuses like “Everything in

moderation!” or “I deserve this treat. ” or “Ugh I

had such a bad day”. I f you keep eating junk

food, snacks, and low-quality meals, don’t expect

to achieve your fat loss goals. RULE #2: Cut out

what you THINK is good for you, but actually

ISN’T With all the mixed messages we get from

the media, it’s difficult to know what’s healthy and

what’s not. Several foods, l ike whole grain

cereals, rice cakes, granola bars, fruit smoothies

and juices are advertised as being healthy, but

often contain way too much sugar. Get in the

habit of reading the nutritional information on the

foods you buy. A good rule of thumb when

grocery shopping is to avoid anything with more

than 1 5g of sugar per serving Or better yet, stick

to whole foods which don’t even have a nutritional

label on them! RULE #3: Cut WHEAT, MILK, and

FRUIT JUICES These foods wil l real ly push up

your blood sugar levels, which in turn wil l

increase your insul in levels. This is not something

you want if you are trying to become a fat-burning

machine, since your body wil l be taking the

energy from these caloric heavy foods and

storing them as fat. The truth is that you need to

keep your insul in levels low if you want to burn

fat, so avoid these foods if you can.
