SILVER ROSE
Beginning in March 2017, six Silver Roses started their journey across North America, from Canada to the United States to Mexico. The 2017 Our Lady of Guadalupe Silver Rose - One Life, One Rose Program will conclude on De-cember 12, 2017 on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas, at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Monterrey, Mexico. The six Silver Roses travel through North America exem-plifying Knights of Columbus devotion to Our Lady and commitment to the Culture of Life. Come view the rose and pray for the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Monday, April 24th starting with Rosary at 8am

One member of each ministry needing a budget is required to attend
Every year the parish must set a budget for the Fiscal year beginning July 1 and ending June 30. This budget reflects the needs and vision of the parish. All funds spent on parish activities must be approved before the fiscal year begins. This budget gives us a road map to follow and does not allow for many unexpected expenses. For most of you this will be the first time you are being asked to complete a budget request for your ministry and just the word “budget” might be intimidating, but we are in this together and we are here to help you through this pro-cess. CATHOLIC HOME MISSIONS APPEAL
Next week, we will take up the Catholic Home Missions Appeal. Right now, over 40 percent of dioceses in the US are considered home missions because they are unable to fund essential pastoral work needed in their communities. Hoy, a más del 40 por ciento de las diócesis en Estados Unidos se le considera como diócesis misioneras ya que no les es posible financiar las labores pastorales básicas en sus comunidades. Su apoyo a este llamado ayuda a aliviar los esfuerzos de estas diócesis. Por favor, en oración, consideren la manera de apoyar a este llamado. Cada año, la parroquia debe establecer un presupuesto para el año fiscal que comienza el 1 de julio y termina el 30 de junio. Este presupuesto refleja las necesidades y la visión de la parroquia. Todos los fondos destinados a las activida-des parroquiales deben ser aprobados antes de que comien-ce el año fiscal. Todas las solicitudes de presupuesto se de-ben, en la oficina el 15 de junio.
