KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FAMILY CORNER: Fully Alive and Building the Domestic Church

DECEMBER — JOY Joy is an attribute of God’s divine love. To reflect God in our family life, we are called to be joyful by developing our relationship with Christ. “It is often remarked that faith is caught more than taught and the best way faith is caught is through joy.” Break open this Theme on Page 13 of The Family Fully Alive.

ST. MARK — On Tuesday evening, December 7, at 6:00 PM we will be decorating the church for Christmas. We need as many people to help as possible, including men. Dave Pfeiffer, who faithfully helped us for many years, is no longer able to help. Boxes and trees need to be carried into the church and back out, as well as those people able to climb on ladders. These decorations take a little bit of work, but are so worth it to add to the beauty of our church. Please help us if you can spare one hour. What a wonderful preparation for the celebration of our dear Lord's birth!

ALTAR & ROSARY SOCIETY CHRISTMAS PARTY: This Tuesday, December 7th. We will assemble in the Gathering Space before the 6:00 PM Holy Day Mass and attend as a group. Our annual Christmas Party will be held immediately following in the Parish Hall. ALL LADIES OF THE PARISH ARE INVITED! Please bring a wrapped grab bag gift. Looking forward to seeing all of you for a fun evening!

ALTAR & ROSARY SOCIETY DAY EVENT: The Altar Society is planning a Day Event sometime in the month of January. This will be a trip to Godfrey for lunch and shopping at “Josephine’s”. The cost of the lunch and tip will be approximately $20.00. We will be arranging car pools for transportation, so most of us will not have to drive. There will be a sign-up sheet in the Gathering Space if you feel you would be interested, allowing us to gauge how many people would be attending. The date and details will be in the bulletin after the Altar Society meeting in January.

ALTAR & ROSARY ANNUAL HOLIDAY BAKE SALE: Saturday, December 11th, and Sunday, December 12th we will be holding our annual Holiday Bake Sale in the Gathering Space, before and after Masses. We are asking for donations of cookies, pies, cupcakes, fudge, etc. Please drop off your donations on Saturday, if possible, between 4:00 PM and 5:45 PM and before 8:30 AM Mass on Sunday. Please package your donations securely in plastic wrap, zip bags, etc. We will price your items when you bring them in. In the past this event has been enjoyed and well supported . Thank you in advance for supporting our Bake Sale this year!!
