OHM Professional School Lifelong learning as the key to ongoing professional success – the OHM Professional School (OPS) of the Nuremberg Institute of Technology (Nuremberg Tech), has been part of this process since their founding in 2001. They unite the various part-time continuing education courses offered by Nuremberg Tech under one roof. The OPS is one of the most experienced business schools in Germany with a wide range of educational programs.

Based on a comprehensive academic foundation, the OHM Professional School provides practical expertise within the framework of professional development. Our expertise in technical and economic fields are empha-sized in our master’s and bachelor’s degree programs, internationally oriented MBA courses in General Management as well as modular certificate courses, seminars, conferences and colloquia for specialists and executives.

Why OHM MBA?

OHM MBA Course Structure

The OHM Professional School is dedicated to producing global leaders through its MBA programs in General Management.The MBA is characterized as a highly practice-oriented program which not only emphasizes the importance of hard skills and manage-ment expertise, but also focuses on managerial soft skills such as personal development, cross-cultural understanding, socio-intercultural competence and business ethics.

The MBA program has two main tracks: MBA for students with a busi-ness background and MBA for participants with a non-business back-ground. Both tracks are offered in intensive and part-time modes:

1) MBA Business Background is an MBA program designed for applicants with educational background in management or business related studies. 2) MBA Non-Business Background is an MBA program designed for applicants with educational backround in non-management related studies, e.g. IT, architecture, engineering etc.

The difference between the two tracks is that Non-Business Background students start their program by taking 7 basic management courses in an additional first semester.

Who should opt for OHM MBA Program? Preparing students for the global economy is the top priority of the OHM Professional School. This program is designed for experienced managers from all industries, as well as scientists, engineers, lawyers and other professionals with a university degree (bachelor or master) and at least two years of relevant work experience

Our students

If you choose to study beside your job, you have to be aware of the fact

that you have to set priorities and may have less spare time. I was able

to manage the program beside my job in which I have to work 40 hours,

perceive client appointments abroad and attend workshops. In case of

absence, fellow students always helped me out.

I would definitely decide the OHM MBA again. The positive aspects,

which convinced me of the MBA program persisted during the whole

program.
