Good morning friends,In 2017 Christian Fellowship Tourstravels to Germany to mark the 500th Anniversary of the start of theProtestant Reformation.

When Martin Luther, a German priest and professorof theology, nailed his 95 Theses to the door of thechurch in Wittenberg in October 31, 1517, herejected many of the contemporary teachings andcorrupt practices of the Roman Catholic Church andinitiated a schism.

Luther’s belief in the gift of God’s grace – salvationand subsequent eternal life – through faith in JesusChrist alone found him in direct opposition to thePope.

Meanwhile Luther’s translation of the Bible into thevernacular made God’s word accessible to the widerpublic for the first time. With the use of theGutenberg printing press his Protestant teachingsspread rapidly across the Continent and ontoEngland and Scotland leading to the formation ofmany Protestant and Evangelical churches.

Join us as our tour travels to the most importantsites of Luther’s Reformation journey and takes in thethree National Exhibitions staged to mark thisimportant event. Come and be inspired…

Warm regards,The Christian Fellowship Tours Team
