Position Overview
Key Accountabilities:
1. Assist with the development of digital content through instructions and by following department guidelines and best practice.
2. Support digital content production, including the creation of web pages using a content management system, maintenance using monitoring tools and reporting any issues discovered.
3. With direction from senior team members, undertake operational activities to support stakeholders by checking material for publication, supporting workflow for content management approvals and review, and logging user support requests.
4. Provide support to the Manager and other team and branch members to achieve the timely and successful delivery of work programs and online projects.
5. With a Senior staff member, meet and collaborate with other branch teams, operational/ technical support teams and other DJPR staff referred to as internal stakeholders/clients.

1. With assistance, plan and prioritise work and be responsible for accuracy and timeliness to effectively deliver tasks for competing projects or process expectations.
2. Confident communications skills with attention to detail.
3. Good computer skills including some knowledge of Basic HTML, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook (or other email management system).
4. With direction from Senior staff, be able to confidently contribute to a digital communications team which delivers outstanding service.
Specialist expertise:
5. Experience or understanding of publishing digital content using Content Management Systems (CMS) e.g. Dreamweaver, WordPress or any other CMS and or communication skills including writing and editing for an online audience.
Project and tasks include:
Quality Assurance of the Intranet and DJPR website Project:- Working through the broken links list, contacting page owners and fixing if required - Checking images have Alternative text and applying a description if required - Checking the reading level (by using online tools) and notifying stakeholders via email - Other Accessibility checks (by using online tools), including contextual links, colour
contrast, table layouts, correct heading hierarchy.
Attending meetings with supervisor (for exposure) - Agile Scrum Stand ups - Team Meetings - Project meetings as required
Attending training sessions (delivered by our team to other staff) - Squiz Matrix edit + for publishing to the intranet - Creating inclusive digital content - including writing for the web

Second last or final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree
Australian citizens only
Identify as having disability
