Providing High Quality Education through Caring and Collaborative Partnerships Term 1 Week 4 Last Friday saw our students give some great performances at the annual Carinda/Quambone Swimming Carnival while our K-Yr1 children had fun playing and completing in the novelty events in the little pool. Everyone displayed great sportsmanship and gave their best in all their events. Our thanks go out to our parents who acted as timekeepers and starters throughout the carnival. Thank you also to all my staff and the staff at Quambone Public School for your valuable contribution to supporting the successful running of the carnival. To all our parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts and siblings thank you for supporting the children so well, as this is what makes our school commu- nity great. The super team effort from all our swimmers resulted in Carinda being declared the winning school for 2021. Well done everyone! 2021 Champions: Jr Boys: Locky Jr Girls: Zara Snr Boys: Jack Good luck to our students at Zone this Friday. Regional Carnival please Note: The North West Sport Association has sent through the attached notification regarding spectator numbers - limited to ONE spectator per competitor at Armidale. I have spoken to our Relieving Director regarding this limit and he is following it up for rural and remote schools who have great distances to travel. As soon as I have received feedback I will contact relevant families.
