Welcome to Digital Shoreditch 2012!

Wow! Almost 300 speakers across 40+ events, what can I say? The good will and energy we’ve encountered from all quarters gives us the condence we’re on to something incredible.

We wanted an event that brought everyone together. To help propel our little corner of the world to the forefront of the global stage. And our amazing community delivered. The content was crowd-sourced from the community, voted on by the community and it’s the community that stepped up to put on the other 80% of the events at DS this year.

So, a big, super massive, over sized thank you to everyone who pulled in to make this second year so much more than last. You are just wonderful!

Together we’re building a future where we are the world's number one destination for digital creativity. A future where our collective is the rst and best place to commission amazing projects. A future where we’re the top destination for the best creative and technical talent. And a future where our community delivers an innite pool of the smartest programmers, the most visionary strategists, most daring creatives and the most astute entrepreneurs and investors.

You are this future - and together we’re making it a reality. It’s exciting times!

So here’s to our collective eorts to transform the future of our digital economy.

Have a wonderful festival this year. Make sure you join us on http://digitalshoreditch.com

DAY FORMAT

Interaction

You’ll see that each day has a very full agenda of speakers. That won’t mean death by powerpoint. It does mean that our speakers will give you a short taster of ideas earlier in the day so that you can choose who you want to sit down with for a more indepth roundtable discussion.

Matchmaking

You might lock eyes with your ideal (business) partner within seconds of entering the room. But just in case that doesn’t happen we’ll be giving you a helping hand. Once you register for a ticket we can suggest people to hook up with on the day based on your business objectives and the stu you tweet about. When you arrive at any of our events we’ll take your photo and stick it up, you can add more info on the kind of person you’re looking to meet. This dating wall approach was a huge success at Digital Shoreditch 2011.

Networking

We make sure that there is plenty of time each day for structured and unstructured networking, in 1-1s and small groups. Digital Shoreditch is all about building fruitful relationships. You will walk away with new friends, not just a bunch of handouts.
