Dr. K. D. Singh is an Indian Politician and Member of Parliament (MP), Rajya Sabha. Also, he is the Head, North India, of All India Trinamool Congress (AITMC) party; President of Indian Hockey Federation (IHF); and President of Hockey Association of Haryana.

K D Singh Foundation was established by Dr. K. D. Singh to support various philanthrophic causes for social welfare. The Foundation launched a “Support Cell for Rape Victims” for providing comprehensive support to the rape victims in Haryana and beyond. The Foundation provides generous support, including, but not limited to, medical, legal and rehabilitation. The Foundation has adopted around 85 rape victims across Haryana so far. The journey has just begun. This presentation demonstrates key preliminary insights of statistics on crime against women in Haryana based on Foundation’s Field Experience in comparison to the NCRB Report 2012.
