ROUTE OPTIMISATION*

It provides an optional route that takes the following parameters into account:

• Safety of Navigation • Weather Forecast • Fuel Consumption (based on dynamic data for your vessel)

Through a smart interface, the user can generate a route and analyse the possible alternative optimised options before departure. A detailed report of the optimised route is also available in this module.

CONSTANTLY UPDATED NAVAREA WARNINGS

Every official NavArea Warning Message is available through NaviGate, displayed in a user friendly interface: Geo-Referenced messages will be displayed directly on the map while the simple NavArea Warning will be visible in a separate table. The user can select them on the map and check all data required for the voyage. A smart feature allows the user to reduce their workload and allows t h e m to find all r e l e v a n t NavAreas under the route. All Hydroarc, Hydrolant and Hydropac messages are available to download and display on the screen.

PLANNING FEATURES NaviGate Route Planner is a perfect complementary planning station to your ECDIS. With an active AVCS licence, it displays all necessary data without cluttering the ECDIS screen. VOYAGE PLANNING The Voyage Planning module will enable you to create an accurate and complete IMO compliant passage / voyage plan, with all the information needed to fulfil a vessel, management or ISM requirement.

These charts will be installed on NaviGate where the Navigator can select the geographical area they need in order not to burden the ECDIS with excessive data.

Once the Navigator extracts the permits from NaviGate using the DGM USB stick, these permits need to be transferred onto the ECDIS where the Officers will be able to complete the passage plan.

Only the charts through which the vessel actually sails will be charged and licensed for 3 months, according to the satellite / AIS tracking which significantly reduces costs for the cells required. No further chart activation is required as it is all controlled automatically. While Hydrographic Offices charge a PAYS quarterly fee, this is absorbed by DGM into your tracking fee.

PAY AS YOU SAIL – YOUR TIME AND COST SAVING SOLUTION Approved by the UKHO and major Flag State registries, it provides an effortless means of navigation for the mariner. The vessel will be provided with a full AVCS PAYS Folio worldwide license, where all the charts of the world are included, with the exception of a few Far East Hydrographic Offices not subscribing to PAYS.

NaviGate’s on board system is complemented with the NaviServer website providing Fleet Monitoring functions, Live Tracking and Management Tools for all navigation data used on board.

PIRACY INFORMATION LAYER* NaviGate providers full piracy alert data every 24 hours delivered by the International Maritime Bureau (IMB) Piracy reporting centre. Using a graphical and interactive interface, it is possible to view all piracy attack reports from around the world in real time. A full historical database of piracy incident reports is also available in this module. The piracy attacks which occurred in the previous 24 hours are highlighted in yellow and will be visible for the following 24 hours. *Additional fee applies

COMPUTER BASED TRAINING YOUR STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO USE NAVIGATE

A complete guide through all the features and modules of NaviGate. 19 audio-guided videos will explain step by step how to activate, set up, use and update NaviGate along with a simplistic user manual, all of which are provided with the base software.

CUSTOM FEATURES DGM looks to continually develop NaviGate in close cooperation with Masters, DPS’s and Management Companies offering customised functions in addition to all standard services, to provide tailored solutions to passage planning. All the modules and functions are customisable to meet clients requests.

ROADMAP NaviGate is constantly updated and improved with new features. Our programmers closely study new standards and regulations to provide the user with the most effective navigation platform including a reliable and fully compliant digital chart table.
