The Student Recreation Center not only caters to SFA students, but the SFA community as well. Whether you are SFA Faculty/Staff, SFA Alumni, or spouse, we have membership options for you. Check out the information listed or stop by the Student Recreation Center Administration Office for more details.

• You can purchase a membership for as little as one month or as many months at a time as you wish. Membership costs must be paid in full when signing up, unless signed up for pay-roll deduction.

• Any member who chooses to cancel their membership is entitled to a refund of the re-maining months left on their membership. To receive a $15 reimbursement for the month, you must cancel on/before the 15th of that month. Any cancellations after the 15th of the month will not be reimbursed for that month. All cancellations must be made in writing.

• Payroll deduction is only available for employees (and their families) who receive a paycheck from SFA all 12 months of the year. Your paycheck will be deducted on a monthly basis until you terminate your member-ship. Payroll deduction cancellations must occur before the last week of the month to avoid a deduction for the next month.

• Members who are paying through payroll de-duction must pay their first month up front. Af-ter the first month, payments for membership will be taken directly from their paychecks. The first month payment will be $30 until af-ter the 15th of each month, where it will be prorated to $15 until the end of the month.

• Students taking only online classes have their Student Recreation Center Fee waived by the University; therefore, they must pur-chase a “Student” membership for access to the Student Recreation Center. Students who enroll in classes but withdraw later from the

university will be not be eligible to use the Student Recreation Center.
