  • Lorry Routes Management• We have a route wide Undertaking to ensure highest standards for vehicles – engagement with haulage/industry

    suppliers• All lorries to be Euro6 standard by 2020 – highest environmental standards with lowest emissions and highest fuel

    efficiency• Lorry routes are set out in the Environmental Statement & agreed with the Highway Authority – with routes signed• A vehicle monitoring system will record vehicles entering sites in order to measure and assure that the sites do not

    breach flow limits.• HS2 Lorries will have indicators for ease of recognition• All lorries will have 360 degree or 4 way cameras recordable for four weeks• All drivers will be required to undertake urban rural driver safety training – new standards created • HS2 will monitor contractor performance
