  • FAQ Notes The Details box should never be left blank, and NO students should be identified. A students initials cannot be used to identify other students. The difference between a fight and an assault Fight both kids fight. Misdemeanor assault - - one person is trying to do bodily harm to another. One kid doesnt want to fight felony Sent to the state If you arent sure put fight. Admin cant change what you write but they can uncheck the box for restraint, and the type of crime. Make sure you know school code of conduct. Staff members are to be included and identified as a participant. Any staff member is responsible for completing and submitting a Behavioral Referral. This does NOT replace the MPS Report of Student Accident/Injury form The method of communication from school administration after a Behavior Referral has been submitted will be determined by the Principal in each building. The staff member will know that an administrator has received the Behavior Referral and rendered a resolution by receiving a message in their I.C. mailbox.
