WELCOME

This weekend is going to be absolutly massive at Queensland Raceway! With 10 BIG categories running - there’s going to be a whole lot of action.

This weekend we wlecome a National Formula Ford round, HQ Racing, Trans Ams, TA2s, Improved Production, Production Sports, Formula Vee,

Queensland Sportscar Championship, Superkarts andT124 Sprints and Rac-ing!

IMPORTANTINFORMATION

Races will be conducted with the help of the race-ciever radio system. These connect race control

to all drivers for added safety and efficiency. If you do not have one of these radios they are available for hire & purchase at the circuit on all days of the

event. These come at a cost of $125 to buy or $100 to hire (with a $50 refund on return of the radio, you keep the head phones). It is compulsory to have this

radio with you at the drivers briefing to give you a run down on how they work and what you will hear

during use.

Also the RACERS Code of Conduct has received some changes since last year so. It is a requirement that ALL competitors make themselves familiar with both the document and the changes, it can be found

here –http://www.racers.world/documentation/

Everyone should be aware by now of the COM-PULSORY use of a HANS (or appropriate head and

neck restraint) device.

All competitors will receive 4 free tickets for the weekend, these can be picked up during sign on on Friday or at the gate on Saturday and Sunday.

RESULTS

Race and qualifying results are available five minutes after the conclusion of the session from the perpex holders on the wall in the tower at Lakeside/the driver’s brief-ing room at Queensland Raceway.

GENERAL PRACTICEFor general practice, please pay and sign indemnity in the tower/office on Friday morning. Competitors may sign on for the weekend then.Morning, afternoon and all day sessions are available.Morning - 9:30am - 12:30pmAfternoon - 1:00pm - 4:00pm

A Clubman RACERS licence is required for general practice as well as photo ID. If under 18, a parent or guardian needs to be present for signing the indemnity form..

SIGN ON Competitors are required to sign on before they are able to do any kind of track activities. Sign on opens at 7:30am on Friday morning and competitors are able to sign on when they are paying for practice.

At sign on drivers will receive 2 armbands, with one to be put on their wrist and the other to be looped through it - these armbands are to be used for Saturday AND Sunday.

Required for sign on - RACERS National licence (or a Club-man licence and CAMS licence), photo ID, filled in/signed self scrutineering sheet, timer/transponder number (if not previously provided), if under 18, a parent or guardian needs to be present at sign on.
