Catholic faith is actively demonstrated in faith/value-based activities that evoke empathy for and service to the community, especially the marginalised
Function as a ‘Catholic Community Connection Hub’ where students, families and community members can access a seamless array of education, health and community support programs and functions that contribute to the well-being and inclusion of groups and individuals in the region
Work collaboratively with other Catholic schools, parishes and communities in the Southern Vales to develop and streamline integrated pathways from ‘cradles to careers’ through integrated curriculum design and creative delivery mechanisms

Establish a Southern Vales Catholic Education Research Institute located at Cardijn College to formalise and extend existing research to cover all aspects of learning and wellbeing in a future-oriented learning environment
Work collaboratively with Catholic parishes, schools and communities to develop the Southern Vales Catholic school communities as a Centre of Excellence in Educational Research both nationally and internationally
Build a research program and culture which supports the future-oriented endeavours of Catholic schools in the Southern Vales
Establish mutually-beneficial learning partnerships with universities, industry bodies and business leaders
Building research capability is an investment in the development of current and future-focused educational practices
