STEM FOR PRESCHOOLERS One of the newer educational terms that we see frequently in the news is STEM education. But what exactly is STEM education and is it appropriate for pre-schoolers? STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, and math. Preschoolers spontaneously engage in STEM activities indoors and outdoors. We can enhance children’s opportunities to engage in STEM learning and de-velop their critical thinking skills.

These programs are open to Sage YMCA preschoolers following their class, and is also open to members and non- members. These children will need to bring a Peanut-Free lunch and drink as part of their class time.
