In this universe there are more than 193 countries with different cul-tures, traditions and religions. The question is how we can create peace from this cultural variation instead of a conflict?
Perhaps the easiest way to do this that we don’t actually think about but that has a really close relation with cultural conflict is the role of celebri-ties. Though there are moral and ideological differences between people all over the world, when it comes to a famous international celebrity you can observe that people from all over the world follow his or her news without stopping to think that maybe their ideology doesn’t allow them to like him or her.
Celebrities are playing a really important role in bringing people from all over the world together. The production of international films and TV programs made it easier for people to know each other better and to change their false perceptions about a certain culture.
One example nowadays is Arabic TV serials. Although political conflicts are taking place in the most of the Arabic countries, when it comes to a movie or a TV program you will find all Arab citizens are watching the same TV shows without thinking of the conflicts that are taking place in all over the Arab world. Turkish, Mexican and Malaysian serials found success in the Arab world. In Europe most people watch and follow American programs.
In conclusion, people are able to have a wider vision to the world in an easy way and people can be tolerant when it comes to humanity. Maybe we all have diverse opinions on politics, culture and religion so we can be open to all cultures in this world.
Be open, tolerant, live your life and be happy because it shorter than you may think. Spend your life with happiness, openness and success and don’t ever try to be intolerant.
I will use this opportunity to say congratulations to the beautiful German brides in this Issue that celebrated their weddings in Germany!
