Why was it made of wood

The church was made of timber because it gives a warm feeling to the large area and was a whole lot cheaper than brick as they were under a strict budget.

Why Is The Church Tent-Shaped The church consists of three tent shapes, one for Jesus,

one for Elijah and one for Moses. Elijah and Moses were two prophets. One night they met Jesus at the top of a hill. It was a stormy night and there was a sharp wind blowing. St.Peter was also at the top of the hill. They lit a fire and began to talk. Peter then said “ I most leave you, but first we shall build three tents.” And so they began many hours of hard work. Peter then said “ I know what great friends you all are so I ask you to stay together in these three tents.” And that is exactly what they did. That is why The lady of Lourdes church consists of three tent shapes.
