• Fittings have a decompressionbox with double PG that allowsfor series-type cable arrangement. The box is separated from theoptical assembly to avoid, whenthe lamp is operating, depressionphenomena and the resultingformation of humidity insidethe fitting.

• The fittings have a load resistanceof up to 5000 kg, which makesthem suitable for all drivewaysexcept those where excessivebraking, acceleration or changesin direction could occur. The useof a locking mechanism impedesthe frame from loosening as aresult of vibrations that could occur.

• The Light Up garden fittings aremade entirely of stainless steelthat is treated so that it is resistantto aggressive agents that couldbe found in the ground.

• These products feature an anti-perspirant device that preventshumidity from filtering into smallopenings in the cable, thus keepinghumidity from reaching the insideof the lighting body. This systemwas first introduced by iGuzzini in1995 and has subsequently beenperfected.

• The Light Up walk and the Light Upgarden fittings have a temperedsafety glass that is resistant to loadsof up to 3500-5000 kg and up to1000 kg respectively.

It meshes with discretion intovarious types of spaces and it fuses with the ground creating minimal visualimpact, respecting the value and thearchitectural identity of green spaces,magnifying their special features. This presentation of iGuzzini recessedfittings (ground/floor) is intended to be a guide for architects, designers, andlighting designers. It presents thecharacteristics and main product plusesof the fittings, but it also specifies howthey are ideally applied to spaces. Ineach specific area and/or application,light responds to various needs andrequirements, and the ideal instrumentshould assist in the development of themost suitable lighting design project forthat space. We also discuss key themeslike energy savings, safety and visualcomfort. iGuzziniThe History and CompanyPhilosophy

We have worked in and for “light”since 1958. This was the year when theHarvey Creazioni, a small companythat produced lamps for the home,was founded. Today we are the leadingItalian manufacturer in the “Lighting”market, and we rank among the topEuropean manufacturers.

We aren’t satisfied by simply makinggood lights.
