New District Administrator,Barry RossBarry Ross has been a full time professional in the field of Recreation & Parks for 34 years.  With experience working in therapeutic recreation, state parks, and corporate recreation, most of Barry’s experience has come by serving communities through public recreation and parks.

Barry was born and raised in New Hampshire, and graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Parks & Recreation Administration.  He has lived in California for 33 years, and in the Sacramento area for the past 20 years.  In his spare time, Barry enjoys the outdoors, playing tennis, live entertainment (he really misses going to sporting events and concerts), and spending time with his family and friends.  He is happy to be a member of the OVparks team by building a better community through quality parks and programs.
