2022 CALENDARS & MISSALS

• 2022 Calendars are available in the Bloor foyer or from a Minister of Hospitality.

• Missals can be purchased ($5.00 each) from the book rack in the Bloor foyer. Kindly place your payment in the envelope provided and drop it in the offertory basket or into the mail slot at the parish office.

Accessible Seating Area In an ongoing effort to increase accessibility in our parish, we are designating an accessible/flexible seating on the east side of the church. All parishioners are welcome to use these areas but are asked to give priority / relocate, for parishioners wish mobility/accessibility needs. We are happy to be able to add more seating options for parishioners that need them. Reminder – T

STEWARDSHIP

Many Hands Make Light Work Looking to give back this holiday season? We are growing our Ministers of Hospitality Team for the Advent & Christmas season. We invite parishioners to share their gift of time and be part of this team. Some of the responsibilities are:

• Welcoming & ushering parishioners to their seats

• reminding parishioners of COVID protocols (masking & physical distancing)

• assisting with communion flow

• assisting with the offertory collection

First Communion Candidates mark your calendars! Group A (Last names A through Kearney) will meet on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 2:15pm in the parish hall. Group B (Last names Kerr through Z) will meet on Sunday, Dec. 12 at 2:15pm in the parish hall.

2ND COLLECTION

There is a shared Christmas collection happening this weekend. Our annual Christmas Gift for the Poor Collection benefits the Canadian Food for Children and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. If contributing by cheque, please make them payable to Our Lady of Sorrows. The collection will be divided equally between the two charities. Your generous donation is greatly appreciated
