Introduction• Artist: Young artist Mr. Liew Wai Keat (Malaysian based in Penang)

• Completed painting in: Mid April'14

• Location: Pinaon Time Tunnel. Jalan Green Hall,

Georgetown, 10200 George Town,

Penang, Malaysia.

• Reason for painting: He drew a nautical chart and

he did record Penang on it.

Background of Zheng-He(painting)

• He was a Hui court eunuch, mariner, explorer, diplomat, and fleet admiral during China's early Ming Dynasty.

• Born in year 1371 in Kunyang, Yunnan, China.

• Died: 1433 (aged 61–62)

• He commanded expeditionary voyages to Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and East Africa from 1405 to 1433.

• Reason for painting: To commemorate the contribution of P.Ramlee in country’s movie and music industry.

• Malaysian entertainment legend

• born on 22 March 1929

• educated in Penang Free School

• more than 50 movies and more than 300 songs

• passed away on 29 May 1973 due to heart attack

• Icon of Malay entertainment in Malaysia

• Artist : cartoonist Julian "Lefty" Kam - was an Art Director and Editor for several publications in Malaysia and Singapore.

• Time of finished painting: 1 July 2012

• Location: Muntri Street, George Town,

• Penang 

• Reason for painting: To make the history of

George town more interesting.

Background story of “Win Win situation”

• It started when the Chinese merchants in Penang started business with Ngah Ibrahim in the tin-mining industry.

• The reason this art is called ''win win situation'' is because the business made Ngah Ibrahim one of the richest Malays in the region, while the Chinese merchants also gain enormous profits.

• The tin-mining industry also brought modernization and improvement in Penang.
