Die Vor-derkaserklamm zwischen St. Martin und Weißbach ist 400m lang und 80 m tief und mit insgesamt 51 Stegen und 35Stiegen bestückt. Bevor man die Klamm erreicht, geht esdurch das Naturerholungsgebiet mit Badeteichen und Gril l-plätzen - eine wil lkommene Abkühlung nach einer langenWanderung. Die Seisenbergklamm entstand vor etwa 12.000Jahren, als das Eis der letzten Eiszeit in den Alpen schmolz.Mit e iner Gesamtlänge von 51 Ki lometern is t d ie Lamp-rechtshöhle eines der größten Höhlensysteme Europas. Inden für Besucher erschlossenen Schauhöhlentei l wandernSie auf bequem begehbaren Steiganla gen rund 700 m inden Berg hinein & überwinden so in der gut beleuchtetenHöhle eine Höhendifferenz von rund 70 m.

This hiking week leads you to numerous highly impressive culturaland natural monuments. Within a radius of just 2 km, the Pinz-gauer Saalachtal conceals three extraordinary natural monuments- known as the "Saalachtal Natural Wonders". At the foot of twomighty mountain ranges - the Loferer- and Leoganger Steinberge- and at the foothills of the Steinernes Meer, nature has createdbizarrely shaped rock formations, thunderous waterfalls and oneof the largest cave systems in all of Europe, all in the immediatevicinity of one another. The Vorderkaser Gorge between St. Martinand Weissbach is 400 metres long and 80 m deep, made acces-sible to the public via a series of boardwalks and bridges. Beforeyou reach the gorge, you will hike through a na tural recreationarea with ponds to swim in and places to barbecue - a welcomeopportunity for refreshment after a long day of hiking.Seisenberg Gorge began being created some 12,000 years agoas the ice of the last Ice Age melted away in the Alps. At a totallength of 51 kilometers, Lamprecht's Cave is one of the biggestcave systems in Europe. In the section of the ca ve which hasbeen developed for visitors, you will walk along a beautiful andvery easy series of boardwalks for some 700 metres into themountain. The pathway is well l it, while the eleva tion changeis about 70 metres.

The Pinzgau’s Saalach Valley will welcome its guests with nine AdventureHiking Trails reflecting a broad range of themes, from nature, to culture,to sports. Adventure Hiking Trails are individually designed, closelyreflecting the nature of their particular surroundings.
